I have been told that Raleigh had released in the eighties (or nineties ?) one version of their "Superbe " model (or equivalent) in metalic blue color and equipped with the 5 (or 7 speed) Surmey Archer hub.
Any light on the matter would help me.

That would have been the 5-speed Sturmey-Archer unit, some of which had an interesting dual-lever control system with conventional high-medium-low on one lever and a wide/narrow range selector on the other.

The S5 always had that system. The Sprinter always didn't, and was a much later model.
