The BionX manual isn't too helpful with this... What are the different readings when I cycle through the CRONO button? Here's what I see:

1) 0.0 Mi (trip mileage?)
2) ODO 16.2 Mi (total mileage)
3) CHRONO 00:00 (time)
4) Au 0.0 Mi (??)
5) 09:23 (??)

Thanks.

According to their website, the console comes with these functions on it:

The console includes a multifunctional odometer that displays the following information:
- Current speed,
- Tripmeter,
- Odometer,
- Chronometer,
- Average speed,
- Time (NEW - on 2006 models).

So I presume 09:23 is the time in a 24h format. As for Au, are you sure it doesn't read Av? That would be the average speed function.

Thanks, that all makes sense now!

There's also 2 "hidden" modes that are very "beta". Time remaining on batery and distance remaining on battery.

Both are based on about 10 seconds of sampling at a constant speed. They're not very reliable but it's fun to see the numbers on the console. ;)

Is the Bionx setup the only one with all those features? Or is there a controller you can get for any motor that has all that? All those features just sound awesome to me.

Well, any decent bike computer gives you all of that info without needing to pick any e-bike kit in particular. Hell, my 7 year old Cat eye does all that. Its just nice to have it *on* the console for the BionX, nicely and cleanly integrated.
