December 1st, you MUST make the 5 hour drive again - and bring Mom downtown to Midtown - the very very last time the monorail will be in action - but ------- it will be the last (for that place) concert of the 200 tubas (and other brass). I didn't go last year, but I did the year before. You get musicians from every walk of life - and every age. And they announce the oldest, youngest, etc - - and some of the visibly old and cherished instruments.
Spectacular event!!!! The brass, the lights and my dog, the reverberating big ole sound that only tubas/big brass can do. It is something pretty awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
huh, and the last one for downtown for most likely many years. Your family may like it - and of course I'll be taking the bestest festival goer, etc vehicle down there (and hoping my office is open so I can shove the bike in there for safety.
:)

Nothing, however I've been single for a bit - and kinda looking, but not really, but could, and not and ... am waiting for something to surface whenever and whereever. I mean I have a couple of girlfriends who have never been without a guy ... ever. One is divorced once, the other twice - and the string of mens and unhappy relationships is long. Especially the one girl who has been divorced twice. I mean - she's a gorgeous girl, and not stuck up or anything like that (course I'm not a guy so I don't see the "other side" of the dating coin) but she just cannot be by herself ... goes from man to man - translated meaning - from disaster to disaster ... To me she's the poster child for why you just shouldn't just go and DO it and ya gotta have that date for a party and, ugh.
It'll happen.
<however, dam dating fairy can just get off her butt and get to work anytime soon!>

Don't feel too bad for me. Being single at college isn't all that bad, especially when the ex is trying to maintain some sort of relationship. They are coming out of the woodwork i think. Most notably, a tall thin Russian with curly brown hair that i had a spanish class with a few year ago. Giggidy...
**You know, another plus to facebook is that everyone knows when you're single**

Did someone say pie?I'm baking a blueberry one now, and the lemon merengue is in the fridge.
Tomorrow morning my LBS is having an 8:00 am group ride. It should be about 40 degrees when we start, which is cold for us. It's been in the 70's(or higher) everyday this fall. It's time to find my tights:cry:.

I'm only kidding of course. If i had a dime for every time i read one of Tudes posts and think "Why would someone name them self 'turd'...oh...wait", i'd be rich.

Is anyone going to a non-family Thanksgiving dinner?
A friend is hosting a dinner party at her houseboat, for all her single friends. Normally about 30-40 people of all different ages show up. I'm bringing some pies, and a bottle of 18 year old Macallan's.

You know, I really enjoyed being single. No accountability, you can do what you want, when you want, with whomever you want.
BTW I sent the boyfriend off to have fun with his best friend while I make pumpkin pie. :)

BWAHAHAHAHA ...
Hey, wait - someone has defiled the Tude-ish way!!!
HEY NOW! I was formally know as Has-A-Tude in other forums, but then the short cut was HAT.
Hat? (course it's better than Turd, hehe)
HOWEVER I was relying on the kind generous peoples --- and the QWERTY keyboards to not have toooo many spelling errors - so ... there you have it.
Sh1t L1st, entry number .... TWO.

Dang. I have an obligation here in the early evening that day. Find someone to make a video of the proceedings. I think it would be great if that band plays "Flight of the Bumblebee". A fitting end to the oldest "mall" in the US.

Please be careful around the letters c and r. Misplace them, and you become msinedible - which just isn't nearly as impressive - especially when making pumpkin pie. ;)
