Alright, how do you jump a bike? Yeah I know the answer is probably obvious but I need some technique tips.
Came across some jumps in a trail and can do the smaller ones ok (2-3ft high). There was a big double there and tried that and came off in a big way. I think as I was coming down the other side (it was a double) the back wheel landed first and flipped the bike frontwards (I remember being flung off the front of the bike). The bike was level at the time but because of the slope of the ramp the front was high off the ground. Would've been good to get it on video to see what went wrong..
So what do I need to do. Do I lean back a bit in the jump, do I change my body position. I heard about pumping mentioned in a magazine. What is that?
Need input......(and a few band-aids)
