Foo - Who else is at work today...

Federal employee here... Even though everyone else seems to be off today, we Fed's never get any "day after" holiday's off. :( Just 7 1/2 more hours to go at work!

I will, however, scoot out a bit early to catch the LSU-Arkansas game. I have a few extra hours to work with.

Stuck at work as well. Only one other here in the office and we just started for this company so we're the low one's on the pole. All good though, it's quiet and I can get stuff done.

I'm on the bottom end of the totem pole too! So it's just me and those that don't have any vacation time left who are in today.

I'm working today, and had to work a few hours yesterday. A boat was sinking, so we had to pull it out of the water and fix the dock sections it broke.

Self employed here. I worked on Thanksgiving Day and I'm back here working today. We work most holidays, including Sundays, and don't get any paid vacation time.

i have 2 take home exams amounting to 15+ pages of writing and i have to finish my photography project final. then i should have time to spruce up this painting of mine for next friday. i took yesterday completely off though! first day off in weeks!

True... I've shuffled a lot of papers but haven't really gotten anything done... which should be obvious since I'm reading Foo! hehe!

Yeah I am - Thanksgiving is not a holiday down here, besides I am an owner. And the owner is mean to the owner... wait, that is recursive, isn't it?

Worked 16 hour shift yesterday currently working another 16 hour shift today, only 8 hours tomorow and then I go home for 4 days....yay!

I'm also a Federal employee. The shipyard I work at is technically shut down today (force leave), but since my office is only a tenant on the shipyard we are not shut down. There aren't many of us here, but it beats taking leave to fight with the Black Friday crowd. Gonna head home in a few.

Only thing is, looking from my office window I can see Mt. Diablo 80 miles away, the warm sun is coming through the window, and this makes me lust for a spin right now. :o

County employee here and have off, but state workers don't.

I did stop by work, but only to pick up my black shoes, and since it was on the way, it wasn't too much trouble.
