Nice pics Donna! Looks like a good feast. :)
That horse was hilarious. I have some more pics of him checking the baby out. He was very friendly - he'd butt your hand wanting to be petted.

Only cuddle the darker one. He's half Golden Retriever.

The lady does not like being cuddled ?

No, she is too much Chow for cuddling. I think only my brother's fiancee is permitted to do that.

Shiba Inu. I think it is a decendent from a Chow.

Roasted a chicken. The wifey made a mincemeat pie before going to her parent's place up in Maine. I mashed two potatos, a yam, and a buttenut squash up with a bunch of pepper and garlic.
Then went to get some playtime in before heading off to work.

They are actually supposed to get up to the Corpus Christi area. So they are not too far out of range;)
(I looked it up)

Actually we weren't too far from Corpus, so your info was dead on. :) Really pretty birds though. I wouldn't have expected birds that brightly colored to be anywhere in Texas before I first saw them a couple of years ago.
totally cool. Hardly ever see any real good birds anymore.
Some years back we had indigo, painted buntings, Towhees, and Tanagers. Haven't seen any in years.

I like that.
