Foo - What movies feature bikes or cycling?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Before you blast me, yes I did a search.

What I am looking for is a list of movies where there are scenes of someone riding a bicycle. Not in the background, not incidental, but a purpose shot scene with a bicycle or cycling.

The obvious movies are, in no particular order:

Breaking Away
American Flyers
QuickSilver
The Triplets of Belleville
The Flying Scotsman
PeeWee's Big Adventure

I know there are plenty more, I just can't think of them at the moment and I am asking for your help.

Anyone?

Just remembered another one

City of Angels - Meg Ryan, Nicolas Cage - 1988

Near the end of the movie, she is riding her bike on a rural road back to the cottage and gets hit by a car, killing her.

I don't remember the bicycle in the Wizard of OZ

I am probably the only person in America that hasn't seen Forty Year Old Virgin.

Nope. There are at least two in my house alone who haven't seen it.

I think Beijing Bicycle is the Chinese version. I'd like to see this one.

Jackass Number 2.

They ride penny farthings into a snow bank, intentionally sending themselves face first into the pavement.

The Triplets of Belleville comes to mind and a movie that I would highly recommend is "Monkey Warfare"... we screened it this summer at our Bikeology festival and it rates as one of the best films I have seen in years.

And it has bikes too.
