So I swing by one of the LBS by my house AKA Performance bike, and my buddy who works there grabs me by the arm and almost drags me across the store to the shop. He explains to me that a customer ordered a Fuji Track Pro, and was very upset when it came in with with no brakes. He took it home and tried to ride it then returned and asked the store to drill the frame for brakes. They just sold him another bike. And long story short I have a like new Fuji Track pro for 580.00. This was because of a sale they were having and the 10% disc. my buddy got for me. Now I gotta get some decent wheels built for this bad boy.

The guy was furious!! He kept asking how they could have let him get a bike with no brakes. I sit at bike shops quite a bit at least an hour a day, you should see the people who come through some of the larger stores ie Sun and Ski and Performance Bike. Just last week a guy walked in a dropped 2k on a scott full carbon road bike, he had not ridden in years but he wanted to get back into cycling, it was fun to watch him fall on his ass using clipless shoes which he spent another 300.00 or so for.

Holy decals. I think they missed a spot though coulda used one more:) Thats a sweet deal and a great bike should be fun! I am officially jealous! the seat is pretty low is the frame slightly large for you?

Yup, I ride a 54cm but this is a 58cm. I'm gonna swap out the seat post, stem and bars to get a better fit. But for the price, I'll live with a larger bike. Anyone want a Deda 110mm stem, seatpost, and track bars for cheap?

Believe or not there are some more decals on the INSIDE of the triangle!! Why? I'm gonna remove the rear decals and maybe the fork ones as well.

4cm difference! ...i don't know, a good deal is a good deal, but you would
get so much more out of a bike like that if it fit you. maybe really should
consider parting it out ...or just try to sell/trade the frame.

i picked up the track pro i'd been expecting for about a month and discovered the same thing— then noticed that the black paint marker i had in the house was a very close match to the factory black on the 08. it'll hold me off until spring when i can strip and repaint it. one thing's for sure, that is one stiff and light ride— it's tough to go anywhere slowly.
