anyone got pics/examples/experience with his "messenger" frames. i hear they made out of 4130 with 4140 stays and thick dropouts...

let me see it and hear it please.

Says "contact us" for that one, but all the rest are at least $1,300, which does not sound like it is in the 4130 range or in the range of most messengers.

Calling it a messenger frame and selling it for 1300 would be pretty damn stupid.

he calls it a messenger frame because it is made out of tubing that is meant to stand up to street riding. he said his track frames aren't meant for intense backpedaling that street riders do and that stresses the chainstays too much.

Hello.

Massager frame are our new track models. Frame are one by one custom
made (not production frame) Build to finish are master frame builder
Koichi Yamaguchi.

Frame tubing are 4130 Cr.Mo heat treated. Massager frame are require
more strength then regular competition track frame. Competition track
frame are not design for the back pedaling (fixed gear braking) this
yield stress on chain stays, seat stays and rear dropouts.

Yamaguchi Massager frame are built with high tensile strength chain
stays, seat stays and Build with Yamaguchi 4140 Cr.Mo.. 6.2mm laser
cut track dropouts. Normal track dropouts are 4.5~5.0mm thick.

Frame basics are Yamaguchi-True Temper Cr.Mo. custom tubing, I.C.
Lugged (hand cut) and dropouts are Yamaguchi heavy-duty 6.2mm laser
cut track dropouts.
Fork are raked or straight 24mm Cr.Mo. round blades with I.C . fork crown.

Style are traditional (old school) Look. Price are start from $1400
frame and fork one single color Dupont imron paint)
Front/rear brake hole, cable guides braze-on etc are all option.

Current turnaround time is about 90 days.
