I think this forum should be on the show "Boiling Point." This forum is getting quicker and quicker at sending some people over the edge.

Oh yeah, I think $300 TT bars are sufficient. J/K...Just ride what you like man. If its comfortable, then ride it. Ride for yourself man. Your bike isnt mine so why do you really even care what I think. The forums a lot of times are a great place to get info on what stuff works and what stuff doesn't, but really its gonna be yourself who figures that out. I have three different bars in my parts bin. I mostly ride with Nitto RB-021 pursuit bars. I also have some cheap risers (Which I have never used but decided to keep around from an old MTB) and I also have some drops. Drops are fine and all, but I never got in the drops since I ride mostly in town. The bullhorns work best for me as far as comfort is concerned. The have multiple hand positions and still allow you to stretch out for the aero effect. My advice, test different bars and see which ones feel the best for you.

These types of posts all ways befuddle me as
1. you have a BF account so your obviously down with the opinion Of internet goons
2. YOU because you read/posted the thread,

And since you Dim fellows seemed to have missed the fact that the thread is a joke making fun of how the arguing of The various benefits/Crapishness Of various bars is a joke because its a matter of preference.

I Ride drops I tried TT bars and Risers this summer, I liked the TT bars but mine where cheap and flexed to much i would buy again but would spend a bit more then 17$ this time. Risers made me look cool All though not as cool as TT bars i reckon. they where VERY VERY narrow, And its a neat sensation spinning with Such tinyass bars, But the novelty wore off pretty quick, Partially because i found they made skidding hard and there was no room for a brake(i cut them with a "saw-s-all" without really measuring). And in the end came back to drops, they seem to be hard to beat

OK. Anyone who rides risers has a vagina where their penis should be. Anyone who rides track drops wasn't born with either.

people are allowed to run whatever kind of bars they want, Id personally start out over a 12bar blues if I were a beginner. Guess it depends on what you are working with, Id guess you play the flute. I can hear you now. Playing Jazz flute at the Cockpit, now thats a bar for you.
