Todd Wells was a stud the last two days. He was dominant both Saturday and Sunday and simply rode away from the field. It was awesome to watch Horner try to pull him back today (Sunday), but Wells' superior off-road handling skills definitely paid off. For anybody living in the midwest who has any interest in cyclocross, you better be at Jingle Cross next year. It was awesome. Kudos to all who supported the race weekend . . . it was a heck of a race!

This years Jingle Cross was a good time, and Wells riding up the run up every lap was just amazing. This was my 2nd year doing it and I will be back again next year.

the run-up to ride up yesterday was so brutal...Todd Wells high-fived me on the start line, the start to those elite UCI races is insane, I had an amazing time, cheering for people in the sand pit area has left me with almost no voice.

Yep, watching Wells ride the run up was pretty sweet. The racing was pretty good both days. I enoed the course Sunday more than Saturday though.

He took one practice ride up it on Sun without a hitch. If you watched the first lap, Tilford passed him just before the runup on that little downhill, then they disappeared behind the hill, then Wells popped out in front at the bottom and proceeded to power up the runup, truly amazing. Tristan from Planet Bike stuck on Wells wheel the first part of the race. He was actually able to run it as fast as Wells could ride it. Pretty sweet course.

What would you guestimate the length of the runup, 100 ft, 30 degrees? Then after plopping your bike down, still had to ride another 150 feet to the top! Typically don't see a runup that big in the midwest. One of the female winners joked, "Iowa has one big hill and they made the most of it for this race."
