In order to sharpen my bike handling skills for the impending brumal maelstrom, I am heading out to the Shawnee Mission Park Trails tonight at 6:00PM. If anyone wants to join up, let me know.
It WILL be very dark out, so bring some lighting. I don't mind riding alone, but it should be a fun time for anyone who wants to tag along. Be forewarned, I am a complete singletrack neophyte, so I won't be bombing through there like a madman. I've never done any singletrack at night either, so don't let that stop you.
I may try this again in a few weeks if anyone is interested. I've logged way too many miles on my road bike this year, and I need to get myself accustomed to awkward terrain and less-than-ideal surfaces before winter gets here.
