Gonna go up for a quick climb. Leaving Harrahs at 6:15-6:30 at sunup/ 1st light. Quick out and back to the store via south grade. I have to be back at the car by 9am to make it to church on time. Anyone willing to climb with the roosters are welcome to join me. Due to time constrants this will be a quick ride for me, so I plan to be done in about 2 hrs. But you can climb at your own pace even if it's faster then me;)
Dress for cold, it will be about 40* at start time and won't warm up for an hour or so til the sun gets over the south grade.
Meeting location, Harrah's over flow parking lot right next to the Harrah's Sign on the corner of the stop light.

think I'm gonna race with the Ranchos since they are local, 80 mile drive to ride with you guys every week + maybe more will add up for me. Sorry:(
not punishment I don't think....I'm still trying to build a solid base for racing next yr w/o over traning. My weak points are climbs, though I know it doesn't matter for crits but it helps build leg muscles when you climb off the saddle for long periods of time. Helps refine my stroke and builds my quads up for the sprints. I can hold my own on the flats, we get to long rollers or climb and I just suck. I can't seem to drop weight at all, but damn my legs are getting bigger.....

I here ya man....we did the Great western loop on saturday....it's about 55 with 4.5k of climbing...
I was stoked that the only people who dropped me were Ben and Neil Shirley and another guy that has been racing for like 15 years...I finally feel like i am actually reaping the benifits of all the misery i have been going thru on the bike...it still hurts ALLOT but at least iam faster.
My diet basically started this week...i am pretty much a rabbit now...
I think you'll be more than fine for CAT 5 bro...can't wait to see ya there, congrats on the Team!!

How can you eat a burger during a race?

it's easy when the meat grinder course turns you into one.

I totally dropped a Ranchos guy on Saturday...when he turned right, I just kept going straight and left him eating my rubber.

I love gluten. It makes bread possible.
I'm supposed to be riding in Daley Ranch that Sunday.
