Cyclocross Racing - Psycho-Cross Series in Eugene?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Anyone on here taking part in this series? I've done the first two races - my first two cross races ever!
What did you think about the slippery course at Fox Hollow last weekend?
Fox Hollow was great! The course got worse and worse as the day wore on. After watching the B's navigate the slip and slide (traverse at the parking lot), I was really glad I raced early. Seemed to me to be a slightly more forgiving course this time, but more mud for sure. Info for race # 3 and # 4 is posted on Obra.

I was in the first race too - the permafrost only lasted two laps before the slip n slide took shape... I kind of missed the singletrack from the first race - there were less opportunities for people to pass me back in the woods!
I've never been up to Camp Harlow... I wonder if there will be a chance to check it out other than the day of the race.
Oh nice... I may be back in Oregon just in time to do the Dec. 15th one if I can get down to Eugene. May have to use my touring bike (leaving the cross rig here, probably) but on the [plus side I can wear a costume :D .
Did my first ever cross race at Camp Harlow yesterday. Fun event, great time, I really suck at this sport. Will be back next year in better shape!
The downhill into the canoe pond intimidated the crap out of me. Had visions of either crashing and sliding into the pond, or just coming to a dead stop midway through and toppling over.
Won't make the race this weekend, but I'll be back next year.

Glad you had a good time! I couldn't go on Sunday, but I'll be at the final race this Saturday. Are there any low branches at Camp Harlow I should watch out for if I wear reindeer antlers?
