True story. My brother works for a commercial roofing company. He is in the owners office one morning when one of the crew foreman called in from a job site. Seems they were supposed to be removing ballast (large gravel) from a roof that morning and the crew arrived without a single shovel.

Without batting an eye, the owner told the foreman to have the crew lean on each other until he could get them shovels.

Thanks! Well...Since I was a communications supervisor recently....I'll go with the Comm. Manager....but I'm generally the type of person that hates to see others stand around while one person is busting their *ss to get the job done. So I'd be Herbert too in many circumstances.
