Foo - lunch

Blah, boring, uninspiring lunch.

Not fully cooked rubbery Mixed frozen veggies and this soup I bought at the kiosk downstairs where whoever makes the soup lately uses the same odd tasting spice. Can't figure it out --- but it almost tastes like a crab boil ...

BUT I have some tasty oyster crackers - who's up for a trade??? Huh? Whachya got??

mashed potatoes, green beans, & brocolli w/ cheese.
The cornbread was awful so I did not eat that.
All from the cafeteria downstairs.
Now going to make myself a cup of coffee.

Deep red roasted tomatoes atop nice crusty French bread. Delicious and nutritious.

Salisbury steak and potatoes and a protien bar. Now for some coffee.

Homemade (by me) Teryaki meatloaf (with rice crackers on the side).

Now for some coffee.Drinking my 2nd mug (pre-lunch) now. :)

Still another hour (or more) until lunch here on West coast U.S.

Kinda filling for what they are.

I used to work with this racist security guard who used to say "I like my coffee like I like my women...sweet and blonde (as he put in cream and sugar)". I would always retort with "I like my coffee like I like my women too....sweet and black". :D

Smoked turkey and green beans. Asian pear and pomegranate (sp?) salad with sesame toasted cashews.

It was more to "get under HIS skin" than anything.

I want to enjoy the flavor on its own....but I can't quite make it sans sweetner quite yet. I use a little honey at home....splenda at work. I'll get there one day.

I've tried to drink it other ways and found it barely palatable. Right outta the pot is the schnizz.

Some generic frozen sesame chicken entree - blah. A bag of carrots, an apple, and a clementine.

Cracker Barrel. Grilled catfish with green beans, glazed baby carrots and turnip greens! Yummm!

Hot coffee coupled with raisins & mixed nuts for a mid-afternoon snack. Yum.
