Anyone have any experience with these lights?

yeah, i'm curious, too.

at ~$220, it seems like it could potentially become nice competition for all the dinotte lights that are out there.

the controller mechanism seems really cool, it allows independent control of all three bulbs (off, on, flashing) which should offer a lot of versatility.

I am looking at them as a possible alternative to the NiteRider Trinewt. There's not much in the way of info on the Internet. They are the same price.

The Knog can be found for ~$210 (Alfred E. Bike) (http://aebike.com/page.cfm?action=details&PageID=30&SKU=LT0520). The trinewt seems near $400.

I like the looks of it a lot...but they may be overstating the Lum...

The reported LED...on paper...does not seem to be able to put out that much Lum...

I'd get one but there would be no point...(I have 3 200Ls)

The specs confuse me...
it claims that at 18 degrees it's 450 lumen, at 32 degrees it's 300 lumens. not sure how that works since it looks like a standard double LED setup similar to the Cateye Doubleshot to me. how would they adjust from spot to flood, and why would it affect the brightness?

their marketing stuff is... weird... naked pencil drawings in there.

I think MBA did a short review and had reservations about the battery setup, maybe because a lot of mtb bikes don't have a lot of straight frame members to mount?

Lumens is a perceived light output... so a beam concentrated in a certain area would appear brighter than the same amount of light spread out over a larger area?

I'm thinking that they're talking about each of the main LED's separately... one is a spot and one a flood?

Edit: Meh.. that would be lux, wouldn't it? I dunno. Maybe they're just crazy. :D

the "geeks" (in the very coolest way) there seem to think it is not very high on lum...
