This Feb. 26 marks the first anniversary of Der Kaiser's retirement. His "race" weight was 73 kg (160 lbs). What will he weigh by then?

Der Keiser ist jetzt schon dick, keine zweifel!

He sure is very FAT by now, don't have any doubts about that, he didn't have the discipline then, even less now.

You think he would dare get The Look, again, in another sport? Not in this lifetime.

Ya, he should now be called Der Strudel.

Yes. I'm pretty sure copious booze is part of his nutritional regimen. Seeing Jan race Lance in a Marathon strikes me as worth the airfare just about anywhere.

Same reason people watched the Jerry Springer show: we're all gratified to see people make fools of themselves in a public forum.

I went for 90 kg - 99 kg. I don't think even Der Klydemeister has had time to get > 99 kg. And nobody's > Greg Lemond.

Jan's race weight might have been 73 kg, but what was his weight when he retired? It was probably closer to 80 kg.

I'm guessing he'll be over 100kg by the end of Feb.

anyone got a recent pic of him?

Let's not forget he porked right up a few years ago in the off-season. What did he weight then.

He was looking fit two months ago at Eurobike (http://www.cyclingnews.com/photos/2007/tech/shows/eurobike07/index.php?id=/photos/2007/tech/shows/eurobike07/eurobike0712/EB07-Ulle).

I'm sorry but I have to say this. I have never seen such anatomically correct manacins (sp?) as the ones in the background of that picture. It must really be cold in there!

I'd say 180 or so when he retired. I bet 210 pounds.
