Alt Bike Culture - Block Rockin' Beats

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Now add up all the pinch flat potential in these pics.

 Maybe that's why the guy in the top picture looks so sad.

If they point all the speakers to the back, do you think that they could propel the bike down the road with just the sound?

Don't post this in A & S, you'll get people too excited.
Interesting, although not my cup of tea...

i know people like to bump when they roll, but thats like the rule that your system shouldn't cost more than the car its rolling in....

I'll admit it... I REALLY want to build a sub box specifically for a BOB yak type trailer... but those are overkill.
I just wanna have the music cranked with a nice deep sound while blowing down the road in a 20+mph pace-line :D
Oh yeah, pinch flats? Caster wheels can't get pinch flats... those are the REAL support :D The bike wheel is just propulsion.

I think that the idea is definitely to get noticed! I have to say I'd rather see people riding bikes around with stero systems than simply squashing wattage into the back of their car's trunk :p .
The neighbour directly across the street from me has a wattage squash vehicle with all the speakers facing directly out the back--I had to wander over one day to point out to him that even though HE couldn't hear it, it was pointing DIRECTLY at my front bedroom when he parked in his driveway :D . He apologised profusely, and has not woken me up since :p .

Are you sure you didn't wander over looking like your MySpace photo? I love that :D .
As long as your neighbour got the message...it's all good!
