I just bought another Peugeot today. It appears to be from 1982-83 and is built with Vitus 980 tubing. Is this a PSV10? Any info is appreciated.

The bike will not be delivered until next week so i'm unable to give you much info. From the pics, it looks very similiar to my 1980 PKN10. It is white with a chrome fork and orange/gold peugeot on the downtube (font is same as my pkn). On the drive side chainstay it says '12 vitesses'. Top tube has the 'hand brazed' decal. Front and rear derailleurs are Simplex; brakes are sidepull. Crankset is Stronglight 104. The badge on the head tube is a peugeot lion- just like on an 80s peugeot car.

Stripes on the top tube for '83. No stripes for '82.

Whats the serial number of your PKN?

Ok. No stripes on this one, so it must be an '82 PSV. The bottom bracket on my PKN doesn't have a serial number on it, so i have no way of knowing. From what i've read it's most likely an '80. It has a short steel stem and handlebars and Mafac Racer brakes.
