Cure for Brooks saddle heat sink?

I put a Brooks on my hardtail last spring. Not having ridden one commuting through winter, it didn't dawn on me that without any padding on me (shorts with chamois, I wear normal street clothes around town) or the saddle, that that sucker is going to quite cold on the ole backside. Fact is, it's a remarkable heat sink. Anyone else address this? I's rather swap saddles than use a cover, so I'm looking for unconventional methods.

Just take it off when you go inside. I do to prevent theft anyway. If you're actually riding it, the saddle will stay warm. Frankly I've never noticed it being too cold, or it soaking up heat.

I park indoors. The problem is when I'm riding. It just sucks any warmth right out of my hindquarters. It's an odd problem, but vexing nonetheless.

IMO-that is one of the nice things about a Brooks,
cooler in the july and warmer in january.

You have to wear something that will insulate you hind. Many people don't realize how many vital parts such as kidneys, prostate and bladder are within inches from a cold surface.
The easiest and cheapest solution I found is to make shorts out of insulated snow pants from the value village and wear then on top of my pants. They are hardly visible under my parka and work great, no discomfort.
When I arrive to my job I just take them off.
