I have a BoB and I use both (not at the same time). I have found that that using the container is easier to get in and out of the trailer. However I can carry more gear in the bag. what do you use?

I use nothing but the bag. It works with just a little stuff in it or packed to the gills. This may be a vanity thing for me, but the container seems it would just look awkward. I find the bag to be very versatile.

I've used a container in the trailer when making grocery runs since it is very convenient and seems to increase carrying capacity.

The BoB Drysak when touring and for grocery shopping, but if the shopping is too much, I use a tub that I've constructed from a 3 ply plastic board that is in the shape of the trailer's cargo area and it sits higher than the Drysak.

I use the B.O.B. bag when touring and a plastic tub when buying groceries. The tub is more convenient when bringing back soda cans and bottles or buying items like watermelons.
I think the tub gives an impression of being a slightly homeless person which may or may not be a good thing.
