View Full Version : Why MY light is the overall best to own...

First: where I use the light. in da woods

I race MTB and ride pretty hard. as hard as I can go all the time basically when I am on trail
------

Why my light is really the very best one.

1) beam pattern.

incredibly well designed, no hot spots or cold spots, wide near the bike, deep into the distance

2) color temperature.

it's white, but not HID with HID's overkill in the invisible spectrum. easy on the eyes

3) Lumens are great but not the brightest you can buy

there is a point where too much light can slow you down
because you are getting dazzled by
the blowback, making 30 and 40 mph gravel road and leafy bomb-runs sketchy

I have enough lumens at the right temperature to go absolutely as fast as daytime
but I can open my eyes wider than with my HID, [or something that is brighter].

4) the light head

the light head sits on the bars at a low profile, so when I do take a digger, the
light head is pretty likely going to not get smashed because it doesn't stick up
like a lot of other systems out there.

and the mount is flexible so if it does get
hit it will just bounce back

5) smart charging circuit with delta

duh

6) Li-ion

lightweight

7) big company

replacement parts nearly everywhere, easy to get support if I need it

----

so there you go. why my light is the best ever.

the total package. blows all the other lights away when I consider all the factors combined

nothing can compare

Was this supposed to be in Foo? Obviously I am missing something. I thought my 100 watt aircraft landing light was the best. Barring the 8 lb battery.

that's the point.

no way will I say the actual name of the light.

right now, I can say all the reasons it is the best light for me, and no one can refute it

as soon as I mention a brand name, I'll get a load of responses that it sucks or some other light is better

if you remove the brand, and just mention the hard facts about it, what the light does and all
the benefits, it remains a great light

My light is even better than yours. My light unit emits luminescent nanoparticles. The luminescent nanoparticles remain suspended in the air long after I am gone. Thus, when I return on the same road, even hours later, the road is still well lit. This allows me to use my luminescent nanoparticle light emitter only on the way out. The weight of the unit is less than 500 grams and utilizes a standard Li-on battery

Naturally, I am not allowed to name this highly advanced light at this time, for if the details of its design and construction were known it would instantly transform the lighting industry and ruin present manufacturers.

I am in secret negotiations with the federal government and a few industrial representatives to work out an orderly transition to these extraordinary lights.

My light is even better. Program the timer on the launcher and a half mile around you will be lit up brighter than day for the entire ride. No recharging, just fill the launcher before you go.

Also can be used as a weapon against thieves and at close range can penetrate the
grill on a Ford f150 which is always a good show :)

My light is the best because it is MINE, and I AM that special.

MY light is the best because it's free, has an average 12-hour burn time and can be used with every bike I own, and my friends' bikes. People tend to use it without asking, but I'm okay with that.

Oop! Pinkrobe's here! Busted. Honestly I haven't seen better lights than pinkrobe's and JB01245's.

JB01245 is a freakin light god as far as I'm concerned.

Sure about that 12 hour burntime?

I'm pretty sure the burntime depends on where you hang your hat on the globe.

it is impossible for a camera to capture the real experience. I would need to get
comparison lights, and a level, and lux detectors and all that to make anything
truly useful. don't want to go through the trouble.

this is why photos fail

Comparison lights?
Why don't you do what I did and take the bike downtown, to the Town Square, and photograph it in front of the Annual Christmas Tree/ Hanukah Bush?

This photo shows my electric bike in Glen Plaza, in Glen Cove, Long Island, New York on this past Saturday night.

My light is so searingly bright it doubles as the sun when not in use.

I had one of those mystery lights
But I got angry with the company when they made a brighter light 3 months later.
How dare they.
Now I only ride under a full moon.

I received my light as a gift after a lunar landing mission with NASA. It trumps the OP. I don't have to attach it. It requires no batteries. It penetrates Humvee hoods and destroys the ICE (internal combustion engine) thus requiring the driver to become a biker. And when I get off the bike it illuminates the road, path, walkway until it knows I am safe and warm. Unfortunately, you have to complete a lunar mission to get this or I'd share the specs, of course. Proprietary, so they say!

Is it true in order to recharge your light you have to hold it real close to your microwave for a long time ?
