I have older Shimano DA Look style pedals and cleats that squeak like crazy. Any tips on keeping the noise down a bit?

Take a hunk of wax ( a candle will do), and rub it into the parts of the pedal that hold the cleat in place. You can use silicone spray on a rag, but use this morecarefully, since it is VERY slippery!!!
