From what I hear there's a bicycle swap meet somewhere in Houston tomorrow morning. I believe they're
usually held in the Hickory Hollow parking lot, is it the same this time? The last time I went around 10 am, and most people were packing up, or had already left. I guess you have to be there early eh?,,,,BD

I believe it's mostly vintage, but some new stuff sneaks in I imagine.,,,,BD

NOBODY, knows where this is? I find that hard to believe? Oh well, going to HH. Maybe it will be there, maybe it won't.,,,,BD

i honestly heard it's mostly JUNK or older guys trying to pass off their JUNK onto other people and make a few bucks...
but let me know if you find it and see that it's a pretty good meet.

I found it by accident, in the parking lot of blue line bike lab. I was there kind of early, and it was mostly
ballooner bikes, and not many parts. It may have picked up after I left, but I had a bike to paint so I headed back home.,,,,BD

It's in my top three! I go there when I don't want to get the blank stare and the inevitable "You need a new bike" pitch when I need to find something. They couldn't have picked a better location! The only thing close was I Cycle. I like the shop, but that guy gets on my nerves a bit.,,,,BD

I may check that place out tomorrow... how is the selection? I'm looking for the right balance between good advice/service and well-stocked. The website says it is in an old supermarket, so it must be pretty big, no?

Supermarket is an overstatement, it's one of the old style Heights neighborhood markets that just stocked the essentials, probably an old Lucky 7 Market. The service area is in the meat dept. they stock parts in the meat display cooler. Young "hipster" dudes running the place, they are very helpful though. Mostly stock Scott products, I think I saw some Felt, Bianchi and Burley stuff too. Good selection of parts, tires, ect. I bought some hard to find Conti tires this summer.

The place is pretty cool in my book. One of the shop guys rides a single speed chrome Paramount, so you can see they at least like vintage bikes. I see all manner of vintage frames of all makes whenever I go there. They put up with me, and I like the place. They have a good selection! BMX, road, cruisers, fixed gear parts, etc.,,,,BD
