Well, it's been 14 years since I was hit by a car riding home during my freshman year in college. Physically I was okay, bike was destroyed, and it must have done something to my brain since I haven't had a bike since!
Finally back to my senses, I'm looking at purchasing a cross bike. I've been snooping around the site for quite a while and appreciate all the great info. I've narrowed my selection down to the Bianchi Axis and the 04 Jake the Snake, and both fit my budget.
I figure I'll be on the pavement about 70% of the time, but I live outside of Forest Park (74 miles of hiking, biking, etc.) so I won't be able to help myself. Gotta get dirty;)
