Actually, just 1.
I tried the clipless thing back in the '80's with a set of Time crit pedals and I guess you can't teach an old dog new tricks.
Now that I'm getting back into cycling after a long break and large gut, I'm getting all my gear together. Problem is, I had moved 5 times from 1999 to 2003, and some stuff got misplaced.
Two things I seem to be missing are a cleat from my cycling shoes, and a rear stay tube from an SLX frame kit I was going to build long time ago...
The shoes are Duegi and they came with that removable yellow cleat on the bottom. Since I'm going back to clips and straps, I was wondering if anybody out there in C&V land might have some old cleats that might match...
I don't have a lot to trade for them, but can pay cash.
Anybody?
Thanks in advance,
Kurt

The Time cleats from the crit pedals I still have, as well as the pedals. Just missing one of those yellow plastic screw-on gizmos with the slot to lock into the pedal once the strap is secured.
I'm still on imagestation and haven't opened a shutterfly account. I suppose I oughta do that and get a pic up.

Sorry I definately dont have that. i was thinking you might have been looking for time cleats and I have several pairs I would have let you have.
Oh well. Good luck with your search
I have two pairs, but really can't loose either pair. I do see them on Ebay sometimes.

I have some "two-screw" red plastic cleats from a pair of Rivat shoes, circa 1985. I love the shoes and still use them, but I have never used cleats (just clips) and I have no plans to use them. I can send pics if you like -- not sure that I have the (machine) screws, but I can look.

I'm not sure they'll fit...thinking maybe I should upload a pic of this cleat, look a little harder out in the barn, or maybe convince myself it's worth buying a pair of "vintage" cycling shoes on the bay.
Thanks but I think the shoes I have only had one screw holding the cleat in.

It's more like the one on the left than the right. Similar, but not exact.
I was looking at a set of Detto Pietro's on ebay last night that would have fit the bill. Unfortunately the auction ended while I was under the Jeep with transmission fluid all over me and the garage floor.
Oh well, winter's coming and I guess I have a little time to look around and try to find the other one...or get used to riding clipless.
Thanks,
Kurt
