Classic & Vintage - tell me what I have

please.
parts are from a craigslist bike I bought ~2 yrs. ago. Rear der. says '72. Are all the parts from the same year? Frame from ebay, colnago fork from ebay, seperate auction, age unknown.
wheels (early 90s campy chorus/mavic rims) from craigslist. I didn't use the o/g hubs because I was gun shy of all the drillium holes in the rear record hub. Saddle from the basement of the LBS, make unknown but it says made in england on the underside. Bottom bracket is a new campy veloce. Brake hoods are NOS from LBS. I know aelle tubing is not the best columbus, but what is the frame model, and is it at least mid-range? Thanks -

I'm not sure why no one has responded to your post, but that is a nice bike that was built by a respectable builder and yours looks to be in excellent condition for being a mid 80's bike. The only fault I have with it is that the original parts are no longer on the bike. Even though the frame is only mid level it's still a superbly built bike. In the current condition it's probably worth $350 to maybe $500 to a collector who can restore the NOS parts back onto it.

Mish-mash. Brakes are post-'78, bars are pre-'78, looks like a Wrights W3N saddle, shifter levers are SR/late NR, etc.

Let me know if you'd part with those bars.

Yes it's a mish-mash, and tho I'm not usually an advocate for parting out bikes, this one is prime for that. Those early Campy parts and Cinelli Hbars/stem can easily be sold to somebody with an earlier bike (this Bottecchia is at least a 1986) and that Colnago fork will make some 'Nago owner with a missing fork very happy. I'd keep the wheels on it and build it with some mid-grade Italian stuff from the same era... it'll be a fine riding bike and I'd bet you have money left over.

I have no plans of re-building it - it was hard enough to patch it together as is. It will mainly be a go-getter / errand bike, I don't plan to ride it hard. I have another bike for long rides, and a track bike for fun.
It doesn't bother me that the bott isn't all period correct. I mainly wanted to know more about the frame and parts, and their age and quality.

Let me know if you might be willing to trade the bar and stem (plus monetary compensation) for similar Nittos.

hmm, one problem is that the campy levers are "captured" in the sewn leather bar wrap. Which I like. And I doubt I will get enthused enough to cut off, and re-sew on another set of bars.
