I have a bike that was given to a customer and i am trying to find out the value. It is a mix of dura-ace brakes and levers, drilled gold levers and black calipers, Zeus cranks and pedals, campy shifters, and suntour DR's. most curios about cranks. wheels are sunsui or sunshine. frame is unknown as well.
any help is great!!

very nice! they are worth a little less than campy record strada...maybe $50 for this pair, considerably more for a nos set. The bike looks like a good one. What kind of seatpost is that? It looks like a 1st generation 2-bolt super record from where I can see. A lot of racers in the 70's would have used a mix like this on their race bike - these were all very good parts. The racer would have probably kept his hot rod wheels when he sold the bike, too. Post some more pictures of the frame details, and we might be able to identify it for you.

its an odd 26.8 campy. but now that i have looked at it closer, it seems to only be a single bolt. not familiar with that.

Just found this. Its slightly more milled than what you have. Its described as second gen. which makes me think yours if first gen.

I think that "BCD 144mm" has to be wrong. The Zeus BCD was always 119mm as far as I know and these don't look like exceptions. Their 119mm BCD size was unique and I very often see it misidentified as 118 or 120. I've never seen them with dust caps on the cranks either. Mine, which are from the early/mid '70's, use a bolt with a 16mm chrome plated head which requires a special thinwall socket and is not intended to be covered with a dust cap. Maybe these are a newer model that I'm not familiar with.

We used to have one of those in our shop back in the '70s. Seriously light with a titanium BB, but reportedly very flexy due to the drillium. My first 'real' bike had (or has, since I still have it) the 'Criterium' version of this, which is about the same except for the drilling and milling, with a steel BB. Never saw a Zeus crank with dust caps.

I would replace the Zeus cranks. I snapped one on my recumbent after only a few months. Broke right where axle passes through it.
