Do you start from the top of the rim (brake surface) where it meets the tire or the bottom where teh air foil portion begins? Thanks

i believe the braking surface is not included in rim depth....

Braking surface usually is included.

Yes, my Stingers include braking depth.

^ I'd take that to mean that braking surface is included.
