Did I have to order one first?

I mean, me being who I am and all that...

Wiswell- I haven't got mine yet either, but I'm glad you ordered one, too. We'll make all the other madisonbiking folks jealous with our cutting-edge style in the spring.

Yo.

Arrived this morning.

Awesome.

They must be so awesome that the camera just gets a big reflection of brilliance, thus no pictures can be posted.

Right?

Or, crossposting here, maybe it would be cool if nobody posted a picture of the jersey.

If you want to see one, get your lazy bones on the bike and see one out on the road!

That would be fun.

Who's with me on this??!????

Yup, it was my birthday or Christmas present to me...or something like that. It will make the the madisonbiking chapter jealous, but will it make me go faster? That's all I care about :-)

Mine arrived this afternoon (Detroit area). Looks really good and fits well (a club large). Pretty lightweight fabric so it'll be a while before I'll be wearing it on a ride.

Thanks again for all the design work and taking care of the ordering and shipping hassles.

It came Priority Mail. When I got home from work, I checked my front door, looking for a package from UPS with my jersey in it. No package, oh well, it will be here tomorrow. I went out after supper to get the mail and there was a package in my mail box and the address was form Illinois. I tried the jersey on, and it fits awsomely. Race Cut Large. Thanks Psimet2001*

PS- Hip did get one, didn't he?

He didn't do the live remote from the Psimet Invitational in October.

Got mine today, & looks great!, Thanks Pismet for all your effort. Great incentive for me to loss weight by spring so the large fits proper  My Doctor is putting me back in cardiac rehab for the winter, my goal is to lose 30#. One coarse of meds helped me put on 25# in about 9 weeks, Doctor just smiled & said "Very impressive". Should be a stressful winter, trying to stay in shape, continue taking meds that makes everything edible & trying to loss weight. And of coarse the Christmas gluttony days are approaching! Hope everyone gets their Jerseys soon.
Be well
Paul

See Post number 8. I have unilaterally decided that no pictures of this jersey may be posted on the board.

Sorry, I don't model anything after eating 4 servings of spaghetti and half a loaf of garlic bread. I DID take a few pics of the jersey hanging on a door though.

Live remotes?
Personal appearances?

These things don't grow on trees, they cost big $$.

A guy like me needs to be taken care of UP FRONT just to get the ball rolling my friend.

Well, there goes my plan to keep this jersey as mythical as possible.....

Looks good! Can't wait to get mine later on today.

And yet, you'll pony up to advertise for a French lottery and a Belgian flooring company.....

Hmmm....

..where did that saying 'pony up' come from anyway?

(And I only pony up when it's on sale!)

Got mine. Fits great. Probably won't get to be seen in it for about four months though. PSIMET thanks for your efforts. Now if I could see the pictures on this thread...

Psimet and iab: GREAT JOB on this jersey.

They are going to look good out on the road. Very distinct and recognizable from a distance.

Yeah, it's fine for the trainer, but as always: Trainer Miles Don't Count.

aham23
12-05-07, 08:20 AM
of course, i would not be so foolish to count trainer miles. i log them as "spinning" on my training log linked below. only dawn of next spring will truely show how much these trainer miles count :). later.

I disagree. I believe you should ALWAYS count the miles you have put on your trainer....not the miles your wheel spun while in the trainer.

I mean if you can drag your bike 50 miles with a trainer attached...you should get some credit for that.

Looks big on you.

Of course, I'm also jealous of that studly form of yours.
All I can tell guys like you is that you'll get yours....that middle-aged, middle spare tire layer that won't seem to go away no matter what when you get...say ah...to hit 49 years old like a certain someone.

What can I say? I've lost 8 pounds since this whole jersey business started :D My last race cut jersey made me feel like a sausage so I never wear it. Chest, shoulders, and paunch areas fit perfect for my comfort level. It's a bit long, but at least it won't look like I'm flashing anyone when I stretch ;)

I'm starting to think that, too. I can see I'll be wearing the Great Lakes jersey a lot this year, but it is a little billowy*. Maybe I'll get an XL race cut next time.

*Billowy?? Where did that one come from??

Hey Psimet: I was away for a conference this week but was very happy to see my new jersey in my pile of mail when I got home today. Thanks! Great job to all involved, and thanks for making this happen! I look forward to seeing these jerseys gleaming under the WI sun at the spring ride in New Glarus as well as the HHH, DLD, etc..
