Yes yes.

For example. Siu get's grumpy when she's hungry.

and when she wakes up, and when someone cuts her off, and when there's no cheese in her burrito, and when the pepsi man hits on her, and when one of her *girls* hangs lower than the other, and when she doesn't get laid at least 5 times a week, and when she doesn't see her favoritest boy *Jon*, and when someone looks at her like in one of those westerns with the evil eye, and when she hears the minutest squeak on her bike, and when there's a speck of dirt on her bike, and when her furniture isn't perfectly in the correct spot, and when the moon isn't aligned a certain way with the sun 364 days a year, and when.. well you get the picture.

Me? I don't get grumpy. How about you?

Jon. It's the COKE guy not the Pepsi guy.

And although you are my favorite (in your eyes) "BOY", it's worse when I don't see my favorite MAN.

And I don't wanna get laid 5 times a week. I'm not an egg.

So there.

Bastid.

I'm hungry. I'm gonna go get noodles. Kimchi noodles.

I get really grumpy when I don't ride my bike for a couple days. I get kinda grumpy when I'm out of beer; even if I don't plan on drinking any of it, I feel like a schlub if I don't have a cold one to offer friends who drop by.

You know what makes me mad? You know what makes me want to eat two cans of beans and get stuck on an elevator with a bunch of nuns? (props to Earl Pitts, Uhmerikun)

Women in the grocery store who don't know any better than to block the aisle, that's what. They will park their cart on one side of the aisle and stand on the other side so that they are blocking the whole aisle. When you point out that they have the whole aisle blocked and you would like to get by, they glare at you.

I have never seen a man do this.

A real hard, long, early, training ride followed by nothing good to eat and housework. By 9pm I'm like an old man trying to return a bowl of soup at the deli.

I get myself into the situation all the time and act as though someone pulled the rug out from under me.

Come up here to Redmond. I've seen guys block an entire aisle by angle parking their extra long grocery cart with the 2-child attachment in front, then they walk halfway down the aisle to get the rest of the stuff they need.

Folks who go through their day utterly oblivious to the effect of what they do on others around them. Things like, oh, stepping 3 millimeters off of the top of a crowded escalator to look around and get their bearings, or rummage through a purse, shopping bag or pockets. (Take three steps to the right, out of the way of the 57 people jammed up behind you, and then do whatever it is, please. This is not rocket science we're talking about here.) Everyone has their momentary lapses, and I can be quite forgiving about them. But I get my knickers in a twist when I encounter the folks who are selfish or clueless more or less as a lifestyle.

Most of what ticks me off about other people's driving fits in this category. In fact, most of what ticks me off about people in general fits in this category.

dumb people.

When people do dumb things, when they've gotten advice or direction multiple time on how not to do it the dumb way. I get grumpy.

I also get grumpy when I'm sick, aggrevated, hungry, tired and other times when I'm hungry and tired together.

I get grumpy when people complain about what's wrong or what they don't have instead of appreciating what they do have.

I also get grumpy when people complain about "being fat", but they don't do anything about it.

Nope, I am never grumpy. That is too mild of a word for when I am in a bad mood. :D Also, grumpy implies a passive approach. Passive I am not, especially when seriously irritated.

I think the thing that gets me irritated more than anything is helpless people. Now, if they are truly helpless through no fault of their own I am more than willing to help out. But rarely are these people the helpless ones. People with problems are usually trying to overcome them.

No, the helpless are those who think somehow they deserve more help than other people. That will make me more than grumpy - not sure of the term for it but it ain't pretty I can tell you that.

ya wanna know what makes me grumpy? trying to go to the grocery store and everybody and their brother is there with the damn screaming/squeeling youngins. gawd, i hate that. then, they just laugh at the kid or don't do anything.

then there are the people that poke-ass along like they don't know what the hell they're looking for. but the biggest thing is the damn squeeling youngins. grates on my everlasting last nerve. can you tell i just got back from the grocery store? gawd, i could do with a drink right now to take that edge away.
