I'm captaining my company team again (Bio-Rad Laboratories, Redmond Operations) (http://main.diabetes.org/site/TR?pg=team&fr_id=5050&team_id=272528) for the 2008 Tour de Cure! Last year's ride was such a success with only 5 riders raising almost $1600, so I've upped the ante to $3500 this year.

Full company sponsorship for TdC this year.

- Matching donations:D
- Team jerseys
- Random other company swag (hat, t-shirt, bandana)
- Shade and/or rain structure at start/finish area

Just got my "early starter" prize last night! Long sleeve rider-in-training t-shirt for being one of the first few people to register a team and send out donation solicitation emails.

Now if I could just get the rest of my team off their collective arse! I think the snow and bad weather is keeping everyone from committing to the ride right now. Friday at our all-hands staff meeting, I'll be wearing my new shirt and announcing that the team sign-up page is posted.
