I was raised on tighty whiteys and tried out boxers. The boxers didn’t work out for me because things got hurt when I went running. So I updated to bikini briefs and every thing stays in place now.

Boxer Briefs....I have upper legs as big as the waist of most people, so I might as well have something that can stretch and give, unlike regular boxers.

Downside, they aren't as comfy to the boys as regular boxers, but I don't have that absurd sight of fitting a 28" circumference leg into a 26" circumference boxer leg (36" waist, meh)....

From a utilitarian stand point I`d rather have a 12 pack of briefs than a cutsie pair of boxers that I won`t wear ever.

I might wear boxers if its over 90f outside and I need cooling air.

I guess boxers are OK if you have nothing to support. My boys need kevlar belted mid rise briefs.
