It was in early Oct. this year right? Do they change the date every year or is it generally around the same time?

Maybe the 1st Sunday of Oct? Better check with the Tour de Poway organizers. They have a permanent website (http://www.tourdepoway.com/).

I will be doing the 102 mile route of the Tour de Poway this weekend. I could not find the 2008 route on Bikely so I created my own. I noticed one error on the route slip on the ride site. Also there could be errors in mine so make sure to keep a copy of the official route slip provided.

From this route you can see an elevation profile and get your own cue sheet under the Show menu.

I think a little light rain would be a nice change. It would add an interesting element to the ride.

I am hoping for no Rain as i will be leaving my place in Escondido to get to midland on my bike do the 26 mile ride with friends then go home on the bike. But if it rains I can just get a lift with one of the other riders.
