Anyone using HD radio? How do you like it? Any suggestions for home or car audio to buy or avoid? Is there an auxiliary car receiver available, so I don't have to buy a whole new stereo?
The local NPR station is about to start two new HD stations that sound pretty interesting--classical and "indie" rock.
Sorry if this has been gone over before, but I couldn't find a similar thread.
Cheers.
Despite the name "HD Radio" it's not high definition like it implies,
The letters "H" and "D" are just a trademark.
Get Sirius.

Supposedly wi-fi 'casting is going to be bigger than the Grateful Dead and HD is dead as a doornail in terms of coverage and durability vs. analog AM and FM. Where have I seen one of these things? Not in Boise or even Hooterville.
Hang on and find a good combo radio/MP3 player until wireless networks are well established where you are at.

Really? I'm talking digital radio, but they call it "HD radio" and say it's the same thing. The local guys are all in a dither about it--greatest thing since sliced bread, CD-quality FM broadcasts, better coverage, blah, blah, blah.
Curious.
