Just browsing around the web, distinctly NOT doing any real work, and found this site...

http://www.airglowpainting.com/index.html

They do custom paint and restoration. I wasn't really looking to repaint my bike, since I'm going to start research for a new purchase this winter, but now they've got me thinking how cool my old Diamondback Master would look with a stars'n'bars paint job and some bullhorn TT bars! USA! USA! The prices are just low enought to make you really think about it....

Check out their portofolio section, and you might get sucked into the thought process with me!

Awww, man! As if I didn't already NEED enough stuff for my bike!

Actually, I was at my LBS the other day admiring an absolutely GORGEOUS Bianchi with a different, but very Bianchiesque paint job. I asked my buddy there whose it was. Turned out it was his and had been painted by a local guy who has started a business. My buddy had designed it, and it was very tasteful. It was different, but you could almost believe it could have come from the factory. But the paint job itself was superior to any factory paint I have seen.

I'm going to have to get some scratches so I can convince Rainbabe that Yorick needs new paint.

Regards,
Raymond
