Foo - Do you have any addictions?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Good coffee....caffeine to a smaller extent because of the coffee addiction. "Good Coffee" (Arabica beans) though has much less caffeine than "crap coffee" (Robusta beans).
We probably all have a cycling addiction at least to some extent or we would not have ended up here in the first place.
Nope, uh-uh, not me never. ::runs::

Nothing beats a real, good cup of coffee. So, I'm witcha on that one.I've gotten so fanatical on it, I won't drink crap coffee anymore. Our work coffee wasn't horrible (the coffee itself that is), but I got sick of it being inconsistent because of people who ruin the pot by being impatient and sticking cup under while its brewing and stuff like that. It might be good one cup and crap the next.
I finally started making my own. I keep a cheap burr grinder at work now, bring in my own beans, grind it fresh each day and make it in my own steeping cup.

Sounds like a friend of mine. Before we trek out in the cold on a long Saturday ride, he grinds his own beans and brews the most, wonderfully rich cup one could ask for.

I didn't mean to insinuate it was always in that order. I meant it was random whether it was any good or not.

Booze. Usually it's just a single glass of good scotch or a bottle of a decent beer. Maybe a glass of wine, but I don't have much of a pallate for it to know quality from garbage. The addictive part is that if I'm not actively involved with something, the one glass turns into 1/2 a bottle. One beer becomes the entire 6er.
I ride my stationary bike for a couple hours a night because putting in 35 miles a day significantly cuts into my spare drinking time.
It could be worse, though. I could drink Folgers. Seriously, Taerom... there's so many better coffees out there.

Hey ladies, KT has several crushes on you!
He's possibly a stalker, too.
But hey, what you don't know can't hurt you, right?
I mean, it's not like he's outside your window right now.
Oh crap. KT, you aren't outside their window right now, are you?
Sigh.

Well, if a middle aged ex- tour pro can saddle up with a 20 something Olsen, then there should be no problem with a middle aged lady saddleing up young Taerom...I guess.

He'd be a crummy stalker. It's tough to hide outside somebody's window when you're wearing a bright orange alert-shirt.
