Anyone commute with New England Over-Shoes ( NEOS ) ?

I wrestled all last winter putting neoprene booties over my shoes, they didn't keep my icey toes very warm, and I don't want to do that again. I commute about an hour late at night in NYC and my toes FREEEZE.
I haven't found any cycling booties that look to be warm enough, big enough for my size 12 feet, and easy enough to put on without a fight.

The NEOS are really easy to put on and look like they will be awesome, but they are rather bulky and don't look like they will breath (translation: very sweaty feet).

They have them at a local outfitter for $45.00.

I use the NEOS STABILicers. They are quite warm! I took mine down to -17F/50 minutes/10 miles last season. My feet never did get cold. Very easy to put on too - I'm talking 10 seconds rather than fighting with neoprene booties. Of course you'll give up clipping in, but I prefer platforms through the winter months anyway. I also went with the spikes since there are a couple of icy up-hills that my single speed is not geared for.

About sizing...I wear a size 10 and bought them in a size 11. Going up one size works fine for low profile cycling shoes. You may have to size up some more if you want to use them with general tennis shoes and the like. My feet never do sweat in them.

When I get to work and stow my bike I just slip them off. No mucked up cycling shoes/booties. I used them for most of the winter just because of the messy roads.

Oh and the weight penalty isn't that bad. They are quite light for the bulk.

I use the Neos trekker for snow shoveling to snowshoeing but not for riding. Neos are a great product and I love my pair. I found they are a bit wide to ride with they rub on my crank arms.

Just today I bought a pair of NEOS Uptowners XL for $75.
It is in the high 20's today and they are incredible.
If anyone commutes with street shoes, I highly recommend these.
They take 2 seconds to put on and keep my feet really comfortable without getting sweaty.
They are a little bulky to walk in, but seem to work great with platform pedals.

Thanks for the NEO recommendations. I saw someone wearing them and was very intrigued but didn't know how well they would work with a cycling shoe.
