Has anyone else noticed an occasional flash of light from their Dinotte when the power is off?
I'm not sure how often it occurs, but it seems to occur fairly often when I pick up my helmet (the light generator is mounted to the helmet). It typically flashes once or twice, even though it's "turned off".
I have noticed that on my AA 200L's It occurs when the battery pack is attached. I wonder if maybe you are having an issue where the connector is losing connection? I don't know if the LION battery packs act the same.

It'll do that if your connection isn't totally secure.
Well, the connection "seems" secure...it takes a bit of force to make the connection between the battery and the extension cables, and there's an audible "click" when they mate up.
On this evening's commute, I also noticed that every once in a while the headlight would switch from high beam mode to "very fast flashing" mode for a second or so, then switch back to high beam mode.
I'll check the connections before tomorrow's commute. And probably send an email inquiry to Dinotte to see if they've heard of this happening to others.

Please let us know how this ends up. Thanks.

That doesn't sound right. Definitely contact Dinotte.
It's raining cats and dogs today, so I wimped out and drove to work.
But on yesterday's commute I made sure to pop in the connectors firmly, and gave each a little twist to ensure they were secure. After doing that, I did not notice any recurrence of the intermittent flashing on my 8 mile trip home last night.
I'll keep my eye on it, and let you (and Dinotte) know if it happens again.
sounds like loose connection, mine did that. even though the clip makes a snap
sound it isn't the most secure thing. I rerouted the cable so it wouldn't pull
on the battery pack the slightest and problem went away
