Hello, I was looking for a semi custom builder... basically something along the lines of Bob Jackson or Mercer but based here in the U.S. very well made, and custom geometry but not the same attention to detail as for example a custom Spectrum.... and much cheaper hehe.

thank you,

R+E Cycles in Seattle (www.rodcycle.com (http://www.rodcycle.com)) makes their bikes in 15 sizes and 4 stock colors. If you need a custom size, it's $200 extra; if you don't like their stock colors, it's $150 extra. They're not cheap, but I don't think that any frame hand-built in the USA is going to be cheap.

I have my name in the que for a Vendetta Cycles single speed commuter. They make beautiful frames and Conor has been very patient and communicative with me during the process. Beautiful bikes hand made in Portland. http://www.vendettacycles.com/vendettacycles/default.htm
