Hey,

I've been looking over lots of pics and articles about freeriding bikes and frames and it seems like many people use really small framesizes for their freeride bike. Is this true of most of you? I ride a Large stumpjumper FSR (approx 19" frame) so what would that equate to for a comfortable freeride bike? Say for instance I wanted a Kona Dawg. Would I go with the Large (18") or the XL (19")? Thanks!

For the purpose of "FR" going with a smaller frame is wise. Think BMX if you ever did that in specific dirt jumping. Also consider top tube clearance for drops, as well as jumps. The last thing I think you want to have happen is jumping a 15ft. gap and only having 1 or 1 1/2" clearance over the top tube for the landing.

I'm 6'0" and 250 lbs, and I use a Medium size frame for my FR bike!

OK, the reference to BMX bikes makes sense... Thanks for the help!
