My wife and I are in our mid forties and took up cycling this spring on single speed retro cruisers (her first bike ever) and really enjoyed it but it didn’t take long to start wanting something better so two months ago we bought a tandem (KHS Tandemania Comp). We have put almost eight hundred miles on it and loved almost all of them. We fell one time at a stop getting used to the clipless pedals and it took a few hundred miles for our butts to become one with our saddles (Brooks) but everything is fine now.
Being “Newbies” not only to these forums but to cycling we look forward to learning from all the experienced cyclists here.
