This may be a stupid question but hey I'm a novice. A friend just got a Mercier Kilo TT from Bikesdirect.
Now it's coming with free brakes and free freewheel. I was about to purchase one, but then I saw this

Do I go with the brand new bike (not sure of the quality), or the used Bianchi?

it looks like an older bike; if you're looking for a TT bike, this steel bike will probably weigh in on the heavy side, and down tube shifters are located on the tube, NOT the handlebars (just in case you didn't know). I don't know if I'd go $300 for it... and, make sure, if you're going for it, that it's the right size!

Thanks for the reply. I'm trying to avoid a heavy bike so I'll be going with the Mercier.
