Well, it almost tastes like Beefaroni.

Oh, I know. It took a lot of work to prepare. Had to take it out of the freezer to thaw, then put it in a bag. It's worth it though.

Staff luncheon - caesars salad, olives the size of walnuts, a chicken thingee, a noodle thingee, mulled cided ... and someone walked off with my cannoli. <sob>

1/2 can of Italian Wedding Soup, a couple a rolls, a couple sticks of string cheese and a diet Pepsi.

Salami and swiss on rye bread, and a half-sour pickle.

I'm here, but I'm feeling really crappy.

Oh yeah, that's right. I forgot to bring fresh ground coffee for my French press, and I absolutely refuse to drink the pernicious offal from the mud machine in the break room.

Edit: Before someone calls me on it: I do realize the apparent irony in (almost) willingly snarfing down some off-brand canned pasta, yet turning my nose up at a little bit of unpredictably repulsive coffee.

Perhaps the "unpredictably repulsive coffee" can ameliorate some of the symptoms that may arise due to ingestion of the "off-brand canned pasta"? These thangs work in mysterious ways, I tell ya....

Edit: At the least, perhaps the "unpredictably repulsive coffee" can help you to pass the "off-brand canned pasta" faster....

Given that there have not yet been any side effects worse than those encountered after consuming "name-brand canned pasta", I think I'll take my chances with water and loads of fluffy marshmallows with a little bit of hot chocolate.
