Foo - Do Libraries make you have to poop?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I was talking to someone that said that being in a Library or book store makes them have to poop. I looked it up, and there are other out there that have the same feelings. So I thought I would ask around. So...?

It's all the paper products. But, to be perfectly clear about this, we must needs consults our resident Foo-libararian, Eboo. :)

No, but my truck sure does. By the time I get to work, to a ride, or to the lake to go fishing I have to step trippingly toward the euphemism.

TMI isn't it?

One of my earliest memories is of my mom taking me to the library. I've pooped at least once a day since then. I think you're on to something.

I think it usually has to do with the fact that I load up on coffee before I hit the stacks.

Not specifically. However, two mochas from the library's cafe do make for a hasty deuce.

:roflmao: hahahahahahaa... no i don't have to poo in the library but record stores er..cd stores? make me wanna poo.. dunno why.. tower records..what used to be the wherehouse..even small local stores like amoeba and rasputin's.. it has to be a self contained music store.. i don't have the urge to vacate if i'm in the music section of say a target or walmart... weird...

As to CD stores, I don't have that problem. It's all about the wizz, though. Nope- for me, it's airplanes. Anything more than a 30 minute flight, and I'm ready for that walk down the aisle. Must be the vibrations, getting everything settled in.

So much of the information that libraries provide access to is digital nowadays, and the proportion of this is growing rapidly. Soon the dynamic will be totally different.
