Anybody have one of these bikes? It seems like a REAL good deal. Thinking of getting one made in compact geometry with Ultegra.
Am I missing something or is this bike seem to good to be true. I think they make the frame in the states. Is there a down side to this frame/bike.
Thanks for your comments.

I really like the El Diente a lot. Mine has standard rather than compact geometry, though.
IMHO the workmanship compares very favorably to the Litespeeds and Sevens that I've seen around.
Rides nice. Certainly there are stiffer bikes out there, but the Dean is plenty stiff enough for me (I weigh 188lbs).
If you order from Dean, don't expect to receive your bike in a couple of weeks--I think it took about 10 to 12 weeks from the time I placed my order to the time I received the bike. Well worth the wait, though.
