We went to a party last weekend at the home of a friend. Every year her tree has a different theme. This year the theme was "It's a Wonderful Life" complete with Clarence the angel at the top of the tree.

Our tree has always consisted of ornaments we have collected over the years that mean something to us. Sure, it's a mish-mash but each ornament tells a story.

Does your tree have a theme?

This year I decided on Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

If you come caroling, please wear a fig leaf.

This year we are not getting the usual stuff out and making the kids do the popcorn strings and make your own ornaments. So I guess you could call it an Old Tyme Christmas.

Trees have no soul.
Its the poor birdies and deer who live and feed on the tree that you're slaughtering slowly.

2. Its the poor birdies and deer who live and feed on the tree that you're slaughtering slowly.

Mines is high tech. It's fake, 2 feet tall, and has fiber optic lights.

Yeah...my tree's theme is dogs. When my family got old enough where everyone was hard to buy gifts for, they started buying theme gifts for people. I chose dog ornaments. I now have about 150 dog ornaments on my tree including dalmation/hydrant lights and dog tinsel.

That is what my tree is too. I have dog ornaments, but normal lights. Now I just need a dog angel for the top.

Christmas trees are a crop. No more, no less. They are grown specifically for that purpose.

Our new tree theme is "Wilting." We got a crappy tree and it's starting to look horrible. I need to take it down and cut some more off the bottom or something. It just doesn't want to take in fluids.
