Hey gang, I'm finding I'm going to be in Des Moines for much longer than I had planned - probably through May, and I'm looking for people in the area that want to ride! I'm bike-less at the moment, but in my spare time I'm building a fixie, and looking to fix up an old Schwinn Super Sport. Hopefully I'll have the fixie finished by Christmas and would love to do a little winter riding around the DSM. Let me know if there are any others out there!

Hey 'foot, I actually dropped in to Rasmussen on Monday to see what all I was going to need to finish my fixie and they were super helpful. I ought to have it all built up after the first (money is pretty tight, haha) I'm back in the area helping my dad on his farm for a while, and things don't seem to be getting much easier for him, so I'm going to be here for some time. Glad to hear there are other fixie riders in the area!
