Mountain Biking - OEM Jr T

I was at a LBS and they had a Jr T that looked exactly like this. He claimed it was an OEM Jr T with 6" travel. He claims it was not used. Anybody know any information about this fork? production year, how much is it worth? Can it be upgraded to 7" travel?

It looks like 2001 or 2002. Marzocchi site has all the info you need on outdated forks they make. If you bought it congrats! If not, then ask him for a good discount.! www.marzocchi.com (it may sound obvious but thats the site :D)

Norco used rebadged older Marzocchi forks this year on some of their new 2003 bikes.

No it can't be upgraded. Depending on the rebadging there are 2 different jr t's...1 is 6inches and tends to be the newer one which is actually a jrt. There is also a 5inch version made for Norco which used 2002 rebadged dj lowers. Depending on which one you find will determine the price. I believe the jrt pro is 7 inches.

5in jrt - wouldn't pay more than 500cdn
6in jrt - 700ish cdn
7in jrt - 1000 or so

OEM forks often have no factory warranty-check the steerer tube. If that's the case, it'll be etched into said tube.
